A few words about myself

Technical Data:

• In 1960, when John F. Kennedy became 35th president of the United States of America, I was born.
• Having finished school, I did my service in the German Air Force. Then I went to the Technical University of Munich (Bavaria) and studied Civil Engineer. I finished in 1987 as "Dipl.-Ing. Maschinenbau".
• In the past 10 years I have been working in the Automotive Industry. I started as a designer for engine and drivetrain parts at a German car manufacturer, then moved on to vehicle technical after sales at Suzuki Auto Germany and currently I'm working in a product data management project.
• When I started my professional career, I always thought that the main challenges in this business would be of technical nature. Now I know, that communication between people is at least as important as technology. I learned a lot about that subject from the book

When I try to sum up my experience of life as of today in four statements, it reads like the following:

An example for worldly wisdom?	To draw the right conclusions from the wrong preconditions.
My slogan?	Logic gets you exactly from A to B. Imagination can get you anywhere.
My most disappointing perception?	If you want to appreciated by the people surrounding you, there are only two ways: to go on a long journey or to die.
What is the meaning of life?	- 42 - ...or do you know a better answer?
